Little Debbie was found sleeping inside a cat house at a rural dumpsite in Mississippi back in January 2022. Rescuers sat outside the cat house, speaking gently to her and tossing her treats to try and coax her out.
They weren’t expecting to find this poor dog, hungry and freezing, so all they had on hand were Little Debbie donuts. Well, those mini donuts worked, and this sweet girl found herself a new name. ?
Little Debbie has spent the last few months at our Rescue Center in Verplanck, NY. She has blossomed into a happy, playful, lovely dog and has captured the hearts of everyone she has encountered. Little Debbie is three years old, 65 pounds, and completely endearing.
She’s good on leash and in a crate, loves other people, and needs slow introductions with other dogs
We would LOVE to get Debbie out of the center and into a home environment so she can really start living her best life.
Gorgeous Little Debbie has won the hearts of all the humans who have been lucky enough to cross her path. Her sweet nature was evident since the moment she was rescued. She’s a chilled girl and walks really well on a leash; a fabulous walking buddy. Little Debbie also behaves perfectly in her crate – she’s so polite! A real beauty. Once you meet her she’ll be all you need!
