Buffalo is a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as his smile. Weighing 60 lbs and full of charm, he’s affectionate, silly, and an expert at stealing hearts—especially those of kids and cheeseburger lovers! Despite his loving personality and solid training (he’s crate trained, potty trained, and walks great on a leash), Buffalo has been waiting in the shelter for almost a year with little to no interest. After every adoption event, he watches the lucky dogs leave, wondering when it will be his turn. 💔

Buffalo is playful and cuddly, always ready for a game of fetch or a cozy nap with his favorite people. He LOVES toys, snacks (especially cheeseburgers!), and going on Doggy Day Outs where he shines like the happy, well-mannered gentleman he is. He’s a perfect match for a home with no cats or small dogs, and would do best with a submissive female dog. While Buffalo is heartworm positive, his full treatment is completely covered, and he can go on to live a happy, healthy life! His adoption fee is sponsored to the right forever home—so don’t wait.
