Lady Rover (#746073.) was brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan on 9/27/2024. She is a Border Collie approximately 1 year old, 35.4 pounds, female, and not yet spayed.
She had been found with an injury and a rat glue trap stuck to her, which was shaved off of her.
She also had a laceration to her left mammary that had tissue exposed, and she was actively lactating as if she had a recent litter.
She was medicated for the open wound and was recently cleared. Lady Rover has been wonderful with all staff here, and is an absolute joy. Animal care staff say she doesn’t seem to mind other dogs as she doesn’t pay attention to them while in our play yards.
She loves receiving attention, playing with toys, and getting treats. The Dog Walkers know she walks well with a leash and really just wants love and hugs!
She will spin for attention and just wants to please! She is out of place at the shelter – she should be in a loving Forever Home! Please check her out and fall in LOVE!
