Kida didn’t always know how to ask for love.

When she first arrived at the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, she was shut down and unsure of the world around her—quiet, cautious, and still figuring out how to exist in a place that felt unfamiliar.

But something beautiful happened over time.

Kida learned that people can be safe. And more importantly, that affection feels really, really good.

Now, after successfully graduating from the program, she’s showing everyone exactly who she is: a joyful, affectionate, goofy girl who would choose pets over snacks every time.
