Introducing Junior! This sweet and sensitive senior boy is looking for a hero to help him make the best of his golden years – maybe it’s you?
Junior is about 8 years old and weighs in at a compact 31 lbs. He was gentle and relaxed with other dogs he met at the shelter, so he might do well in a home with other well matched pups. He’s shown himself to be somewhat sensitive to handling at the shelter, but once he’s on leash he’s got excellent leash manners. Junior takes treats gently and enjoys the company of human friends.
As a senior citizen, Junior has some of the challenges that come with an advanced age, including hip dysplasia, dental disease, and dermatitis. He’ll need follow up with your own veterinarian to plot a course of care that allows him to lead the most comfortable life in his golden years.
