Meet Jax! 👅 He is a Shepherd mix (maybe cattle dog?) who arrived from Lake Elsinore as a stray, abandoned in the Night Drop on 6/27/2024. He was then adopted in July but was turned in by his owner on 10/19. They said he was too rough for their young kids and was reactive to other dogs while on leash. Both are trainable behaviors if just given the time and effort. He is 1 year, 2 months old and is now neutered! He is listed as 36-75 lbs and has a sweet tri colored coat of black, brown and white with bright brown eyes! And check out those Rottie Dottie eyebrows! 😍
The Dog Walkers know he was scared and struggled a bit when he first arrived. (Who wouldn’t???) But he gained confidence and is learning all about life. He was kenneled with a couple of other dogs when he first arrived and did great with them. He is learning how to walk with a leash and doing awesome! 🐕🦺 He has tons of puppy 🐶 energy and is very smart! I’d guess he’d be easy to train because he is always watching and wants to please! He is friendly and very sweet! And did I mention how ADORABLE he is? Did you see his contagious SMILE? 👅
He really deserves to find his true FOREVER FAMILY and go HOME! 🏡 He is a great age and size and with guidance and love he would likely fit into an active family with kids that are a bit older. He’s waiting to meet and steal some hearts💘 so he can join the Family! Hurry!💕🐾
