Meet Toby — the red-and-white Siberian Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold.
At just 2 years old and 48 lbs, Toby has already lived through more heartbreak than most dogs ever should. Originally surrendered in South Carolina by an owner who loved him but couldn’t afford to keep him, Toby has since bounced between at least six different homes and shelters. Each time he thought he’d found his forever, he was let down again.
Despite it all, Toby’s gentle, loving spirit has never faded. He bonds quickly with people, is playful and affectionate, and absolutely adores children (as long as they know to give him space when needed). His favorite things? Snuggling beside you, playing like a goofball, and sleeping at your feet. He’s working hard on housetraining and crate training, and he’s already making amazing progress.
