Meet Lucy, an adorable Beagle/Chihuahua mix with soft eyes and a gentle spirit. This sweet girl recently arrived from the NYC shelter system, where her life took a difficult turn. Shelter notes indicate Lucy was brought in through “agency intake,” which often means her owner was incarcerated or moved away, leaving her behind. Understandably, Lucy had a tough time in the noisy, stressful shelter, but she’s now settling into a loving foster home where we hope to see her truly blossom.
Despite her unknown past, Lucy’s future is full of promise. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has tested heartworm negative. She’s looking for a forever home that will give her the stability, patience, and kindness she’s been missing. Lucy deserves a soft place to land—and in return, she’ll give back more love than you can imagine.
