Mufasa is a gentle Golden Retriever mix who’s had a rough start but is now looking forward to brighter days. This handsome pup was surrendered by his previous owner in Texas after a frightening escape from home, which landed him in a local shelter. Thankfully, Mile High Lab Mission (MHLM) stepped in, and now Mufasa is getting a second chance at a loving life in Colorado.
Though initially shy, Mufasa is showing his sweet, affectionate personality in his foster home. He’s easy to handle and friendly, just needing a little time to warm up. Mufasa enjoys the company of calm dogs, and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, he’s shown respectful curiosity. He’s still learning leash manners and basic training, but he’s making great progress every day. Due to his sensitive nature, Mufasa would thrive in a quiet home with adults or older children (teens) who can give him the space and love he needs to build confidence.
