From Unsocialized and Overlooked to Hopeful and Healing—Meet Zeeko the Great Pyrenees Mix

In late 2024, Zeeko was one of five dogs found roaming a suburban neighborhood—unsocialized, ungroomed, and never given proper care. Though help was offered, he ended up in boarding with another rescue, waiting… and waiting… for a foster home that never came. After a month, it was clear Zeeko deserved more than a kennel, and he was finally given a real chance to start over.

Now safe, Zeeko is beginning to discover what it means to be part of a family. Soft beds, regular meals, and a warm home are all new to him—but he’s embracing this new life more each day.

Zeeko is a big, handsome boy—possibly a Doodle or even a Komondor mix—with a gentle heart. He’s friendly, does well with other dogs, and truly wants to connect with people. While he may be a little nervous at first, once he starts to trust, you can see just how much love he has been waiting to give.

This sweet boy is still learning the world, and he’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will continue to guide him with kindness and consistency. With time, Zeeko is going to blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
