Dennis is a one-year-old Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle mix) who weighs just 9 lbs—but don’t let his size fool you! He’s bursting with personality, affection, and playfulness. Dennis and his slightly older brother from another mother, Seven, were surrendered to Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa when their previous owner could no longer care for them. Dirty and matted upon arrival, Dennis got a fresh start with a much-needed bath and grooming.
Since settling into his foster home, Dennis has been an absolute joy. He loves snuggling with humans of all ages, especially children, and confidently plays with foster dog siblings much larger than himself. He’s kennel trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys neighborhood strolls and playtime. Regular grooming will be part of his care routine, and in return, he’ll give you endless love, laughs, and cuddles.
