In February 2024, 2Mock (formerly called Lucky) was found abandoned and starving near Lava Tree State Park on Hawaiʻi Island. Thanks to the quick action of a kind rescuer, Shannon, he was brought to safety in Kona and nursed back to health with the help of KARES (Kohala Animal Relocation & Education Service). Over time, 2Mock regained his strength, confidence, and joyful personality, proving just how resilient he is.
Now a healthy, affectionate, and high-energy 50–55 lb hound mix, 2Mock faces another transition as his previous owner can no longer care for him due to inter-island travel. He urgently needs a foster or forever home where he can thrive safely.
