Her Story:
Freya was found as a stray in Tacoma in December 2020—terrified and just 40 pounds. After being rescued by Tacoma Humane Society and transferred to Dog Gone Seattle, she blossomed in foster care, gaining strength, confidence, and 15 healthy pounds. She was adopted in 2021 but returned a year later when her busy condo life became too stressful. Now, after a professional board-and-train with Seattle K9 Command, Freya has polished her skills and is ready to start fresh—with a patient, loving family who understands her Shepherd heart.

Freya has already overcome so much, and now she’s just waiting for someone to see the loyal, brilliant, and loving dog she truly is. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a Shepherd who’ll be your lifelong companion, come meet Freya—you might just be the hero she’s been waiting for.
