PRECIOUS FINN! Found as a stray out in the country. There are no shelters in many Texas counties and so his fate was sadly predictable. However, the good people at the Sheriff’s office said he could temporarily stay in an outside pen they have.
Several rescuers worked to find a place for him and he had a couple of “temporary fosters”. Then he came to Companion Animal Network. Finn has been a delight to foster!! SMART, very affectionate, too. We believe Finn is a McNab (border collie) and terrier mix. He has waited here for a YEAR to find his forever home.
Finn is a little overweight but should weigh around 40 pounds. The vet places him as a young adult dog. He is neutered and fully vetted and microchipped. Finn is great with humans of all ages and, with proper introduction, good with dogs. Not all dogs, but proper introductions and allowing time to adjust is key. Honestly, he would be happiest as the ONLY dog as he bonds strongly with his “people”.
