Felix is a 5 month old male Shepsky (Shepherd/Husky mix) and when Rocky comes across him, itās his first 24 hours at Animal Friends of the Valleys. Animal Control received a call the day prior from a family who told them they had a āviciousā and dangerous dog. When calls come in claiming thereās a dangerous dog in a home or around the public, ACO has to take it seriously every time for public safety. When they went to retrieve the dog, they discovered this puppy that was, according to them, the sweetest boy ever. Itās rumored the family may have lied about the dog being vicious just so Animal Control would take a puppy that requires lots of work off their hands.
When Rocky sits in with him, itās apparent he is just scared and shut down at the shelter, unable to feel like heās a normal puppy who is allowed to do puppy things. Heās nicknamed āFelixā after happiness and joy. Felix will need some patience and plenty of loving care, and heās bound to live up to his new name.
