Eagerness is written all over 4-year-old Ellie’s endearing face! She’s 45 pounds of sweetness, playfulness, and affection who gets along easily with everyone. Ellie thrives on attention, rests her head on laps, gently asks for loving, and rolls over for belly rubs. Friendly, frisky and extremely energetic, she LOVES taking walks (she walks best with a harness and leash), playing with toys, chewing on bones, and going for car rides.
Famously fond of peanut butter, motivated by food, toys and love and yearning to please, she now knows “come”, “sit”, “down” and “no” and is both crate and house trained. Ellie needs an experienced home with a firm but gentle and loving “pack leader” to help her make up for lost time in exchange for a lifetime of her sweet Ellie love.
Ellie needs a home with lots of exercise as she has lots of energy. She loves water, but dog parks are not where she shines. So a kiddie pool in the backyard is her happy place. Ellie has been to a board and train and knows her commands well but she needs a home that can continue with this training and provide structure so she can live her best life!
