Dingo, originally from Alabama, was adopted with high hopes but escaped and fractured his leg while under a sitter’s care. The shelter traced him back through his microchip but his adopters never returned to reclaim him.
The shelter made the decision to amputate his leg on June 12th, and he is now on the road to recovery. Despite his hardships and now a “tripod”, Dingo is resilient and hopeful for a loving home. He is crate-trained, 98% housebroken, friendly towards people and other dogs (always goes up to them for pets and make them smile), well-behaved on a leash, enjoys squeaky toys, knows basic commands, and sleeps through the night.
