Handsome Dexter arrived at the shelter as a stray along with his girlfriend, who has since been adopted. He is thought to be just under 2 years old and not yet neutered. He is a Labrador Retriever (mix) likely around 50-60 lbs with a sweet black coat and bright brown eyes. The Volunteer Dog Walkers know he is friendly, fun and loves to sing while walking! It is probably just pent up energy but I like to think he is just singing his happy song! He is well behaved and likely housebroken. He is currently kenneled with another dog and they have become besties! The shelter environment can be really tough for some of these sensitive doggies and I believe Dexter is really going to SHINE once he arrives HOME! He’s waiting for his Perfect People to give him that opportunity and he will give them a lifetime of love, loyalty and smiles!
