Hi, I’m Debbie! I’m a six-year-old Yorkie weighing in at a petite 9 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you—I’ve got a lot of love to give! I’m a sweet and lovable girl who just wants to be close to my people. At home, I’ll follow you around with my tail wagging, always ready for some quality cuddle time on the couch. I’m not super active, but I do enjoy a good run in the backyard every now and then.
I’m almost potty trained—just need a consistent schedule to keep me on track! At night, I sleep peacefully in my crate, though I’d much rather be with everyone during the day. Sometimes I will bark bark – hee hee! I’m still getting used to new things, so I’ll need a fenced yard for my safety since I’m not leash trained yet.
I’m happiest when I have other little dogs around to keep me company and maybe even play with. I do require another dog in my forever home to show me the ropes and help me learn to trust people. I’m still figuring out the whole playtime thing, but I’ve started to run around and be more playful since I’ve settled in here. I’m also a good eater and love soft treats.
I’m mostly quiet, only barking when the other dogs do, and I love my naps as much as I love my cuddle time. I’m just a sweet, easy-going girl looking for a home where I can be close to my people and maybe have a few doggie pals to hang out with. If you’re looking for a loving, gentle companion, I might just be your perfect match!

Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe.
