Daphne, a red 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle dog mix, was brought into the shelter after a good samaritan found her stray. After caring for her for a few weeks in their own home, not finding an owner, they had to turn her in due to Daphne not getting along with the dogs at home.
Afraid and unsure of where she is, Daphne is slowly being worked with by Animal Care staff and Rocky to get her to come out of her shell. Hopefully, she can find a home where someone will be able to take things slow with her and understand her needs as both a cattle dog, and a shy girl.
