Daisy is an adorable and affectionate young Terripoo with a heart full of love to give. At 1.9 years old, she’s the perfect blend of playful energy and calm companionship. Daisy has been part of a loving family, sharing a close bond with a 10-year-old boy, making her an ideal companion for children. Her gentle nature and playfulness make her a great match for families, especially those with older children who are mindful of small toys—she’s been known to snatch up a Lego or two!
Personality & Behavior: Daisy is a well-behaved pup who rarely barks and has never shown any signs of aggression. She’s great with other pets including cats and dogs. She had a positive experience with a cat during a vacation stay and played with the kittie. While she’s very smart and mostly potty trained, she still occasionally has accidents in the kitchen, but she’s improving daily.
Daisy is highly responsive to praise and loves hearing “good girl” when she uses her potty pad tray or relieves herself outside. A little more patience with her potty training will help her perfect this skill.She enjoys several walks a day, including early morning strolls at 5am and a final walk before bedtime. If she can’t wait for her next walk, she uses her potty pad without issue. Her active schedule helps keep her happy and healthy!
Playtime & Toys: Daisy absolutely loves playing ball and enjoys her chew toys, she does tear the stuffing out, so we give her the toys without stuffing. She’s past the typical puppy chewing stage, so no worries about her damaging furniture, but she’s still curious and will swallow small items like Legos if left out.
Care & Training: Daisy is a dream when it comes to grooming. She allows her nails to be trimmed, enjoys baths, and lets you brush her with ease—an unusual but wonderful trait in a dog. She’s always been on a leash during outdoor time and has never tried to run off when coming back inside.
Daisy loves snuggling and enjoys curling up under blankets at your feet, but she’s equally content in her own cozy dog bed.
Diet & Health: Daisy is fed high-quality dry dog food, eating one cup in the morning and another in the evening, typically around family mealtime. She’s never had human food, so there’s no begging at the table with this girl! Daisy is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations with no known health issues.
Ideal Home: Daisy would thrive in a home with kids over 5, and adults who can appreciate her gentle, playful nature and provide plenty of snuggles. While she gets along well with cats, her perfect home might not have young kids who leave small toys around.
