Cody needs a new home now. He was used for breeding but the breeder became seriously ill and can no longer care for him. All Shepherd Rescue (ASR) partnered with another local GSD rescue to save Cody and other dogs. He is a big boy with a beautiful and massive, long coat. Cody is amazingly resilient despite all the recent changes in his life. He is super friendly and affectionate; he loves, loves, loves belly rubs and will roll over for one as soon as he meets you !
Cody is good with other dogs and people. While with us, he has not yet met any children but due to his size he would be best in a home with kids over 8 to avoid accidental knock-overs. Tommy, another dog who looks a lot like Cody, may be his son and is also for adoption. You can see both of them on the ASR site.
