Clarke just wants to be your best friend, and cuddle with you on the couch and chill. Clarke is smart, outgoing, and has done extremely well with the other dogs in our care. We also make sure to always make proper introductions with all of our dogs to help ensure successful playdates.
Clarke was returned to us in September (2021) because the adopters said he had a couple of incidents with one of the new dogs in the home and an incident with a dog outside of the home. Since being back in our care, we haven’t seen any signs of aggression with any dogs or any people. We have had the pleasure of knowing Clarke for two years now, and he has been a total joy to be around. We feel he will be happiest living in a home with a dog he has gotten to know well, and not in an environment where new and unknown dogs visit often or are fostered.
Clarke is a very sweet guy who enjoys meeting new people! He flops over on his back for belly rubs and loves getting attention. He needs more exercise and enrichment than just being let outside in the backyard, plus, he loves going for walks! Daily outings are not only great for his soul, but they will help him maintain a healthy weight and feel more energetic.
