Clara is a precious Great Pyrenees mix puppy currently in the care of Great Pyrenees Rescue Society (GPRS). She’s looking for a family that understands the unique needs of large-breed pups and is ready to help her grow into a confident, well-rounded family companion.
🐶 Puppy Adoption Requirements
GPRS has a well-developed process in place to ensure each puppy thrives in their new home. Please read carefully before applying:
- 🐕🦺 Resident Dog Required: Puppies must go to homes with a youthful, adult dog of at least 50 lbs. This provides mentorship and structure.
- 🏠 Indoor Family Pet Only: Clara is not a livestock guardian; she must live inside the home as a family member.
- ⏰ Someone Home Part-Time: Puppies require socialization. Homes must have someone home for part of the day.
- 🧱 Fenced Yard Required: A secure, visible fence is non-negotiable for all adopters.
- 🧠 Socialization Plan: Applicants must have a thoughtful plan for training and social development.
- ❤️ Great Pyrenees Experience Preferred: Bonus points if you’ve loved a Pyr before!
- 💉 Resident Pets Must Be Up-to-Date: All personal pets must be vaccinated, on heartworm/flea prevention, and spayed/neutered.
📌 Note: Puppies are not placed on a “first come, first served” basis. The best match for each individual pup is always the priority.
