Look who has arrived in Rhode Island! It is none other than Chunk!
Chunk came to us from Texas where he was owned by an elderly couple who overfed him to an extreme. He was surrendered at 29 pounds and is now a svelte 18!
Chunk is a lover and a snuggler. He is middle aged at 7 years old and this guy has plenty left in the tank! He enjoys running around the yard and also going on leash walks.
Chunk’s Texas foster crate trained him but said that Chunk has proven himself to also be trustworthy when left uncrated. He gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home and shows little interest in the family’s cats.
