Meet Chickee, a 4-year-old, 55-pound lapdog with a goofy, wiggly personality and a heart full of love. This handsome boy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, crate trained, and fully housebroken. He knows and obeys most commands—sit, stay, down—and is a total joy in the home. Fun fact: Chickee fetches and brings the ball back!

Chickee is looking for a special “one-person forever home,” or a household where both parents can meet him at the same time. He’s protective of his humans, but he’s never harmed anyone, making him a safe, loving companion for the right home. While he seems dog-friendly on walks, he has never lived with another dog and has not been around children or cats, so he’s best suited for an adult-only household.

Being a foster costs you nothing—the rescue covers all food and vet care. Your volunteer time can also count toward Community Service hours or school credits.
