Meet Cher. This sweet girl seems to have made it her personal mission to break all the stereotypes about bully breeds with cropped ears – one kiss at a time!
Before we tagged Cher for rescue, she had been wallowing in an overcrowded shelter for months. When the shelter was bombarded with dozens of new dogs from a hoarding case, space ran out and a scary reality set in. We tagged Cher for rescue, knowing that a small Amstaff mix with cropped ears would be in danger if the shelter began euthanizing dogs for space!
Cher has been living it up in a foster home in NYC. She is our go-to dog to bring to events and does brilliantly every time. Cher is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash, loves people, and does well with other dogs she sees on walks. She’s a mellow, lovely girl and is available for adoption at nycscr.org/adopt
