She was surrendered to BARC animal shelter with the intent to euthanize her after being hit by a car—simply because her owner didn’t want to pursue medical care. Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time. X-rays revealed no broken bones, only soreness… and a heart that had clearly been through too much.
