Hey, I’m the new girl on the block – Bryn! I am a 5 month old French Bulldog x Pug. I live with 3 Boxers and 2 human children – I love them ALL! While I can’t hear them when they tell me how pretty I am (I am deaf!), I am learning to take all their cues and i am even fully potty and crate trained! I’ve had my big girl (spay) surgery and nose job (nares!) .. and ready to find my perfect FUR-EVER family. I would benefit from having a gentle and kind canine friend in my home to help show me the ropes and keep me company when my humans aren’t around. It’s also important to remember that since I am deaf, I cannot hear a “warning growl” of my canine friends therefore a canine who is patient with me would be best.
My very bestest friend is the 2 year old 70lb Boxer – we wrestle, play and cuddle on the couch. He’s very gentle with me and loves to play. Foster mom keeps his crate right next to mine when they leave the house – I settle right down and nap until they’re home. In true Pug fashion, being away from my humans is tough stuff. My left eye pupil is slightly different looking, but like my beauty – I was just born that way. I have excellent vision and my sniffer is that of a bloodhound. Short walks to the school bus where I can sniff EVERYTHING and then get mauled by a group of kids is my absolute favorite. This is closely followed by attending my kids’ hockey games and practices.. sitting in the change room with the sweaty, smelly kids after the game or being carried around in someone’s jacket is the BEST.
I love toys, treats, playing, little kid socks and toques (err .. I mean .. oops) .. ! I promise I am learning the difference between them all very soon! I love .. I mean LOVE little humans – even more than their socks! Can’t wait to meet you HOME REQUIREMENTS- GENTLE AND KIND DOG IN THE HOME-Bryn is deaf so will need a family who understands this and can set her up for success with sign language training. A kind other animal companion will do her wonders. – WOULD BENEFIT WITH HAVING SOMEONE HOME MORE OFTEN (4-5 hours max since she is still so young, a dog walker would suffice for longer periods.)LOCATED IN ANGUS
