Bruno is a 1 year old male who had come into the shelter almost a week prior to Rocky meeting him, and despite the time that has passed, still seemed to display very nervous behavior, which would make it harder for him to find a new home. He came into the shelter as a stray Animal Control pick up, and after further investigation, it was discovered Animal Control was called out to a property by a realtor as he was on one of the properties for sale. The realtor was going to tie up the dog outside for ACO until they arrived. Near the property is a large vacant lot and according to shelter staff, this is a very popular dumping ground, and it’s possible he was dumped there before finding shelter at the property. When health check examined him, there was a scar on the right side of neck and a laceration, possibly due to an over tight collar. He also has a dirty coat and fleas (being treated currently by the shelter), a scabbed over wound on his lower back between his hips and is overall underweight. Kelly came up with the name Bruno for this boy, as he had no known name and has no known owner at this time.
