Meet Brooklyn, a sweet, 2-year-old Yorkie nugget weighing just 6.5 lbs. She came to rescue after being surrendered to a rural shelter, and now she’s ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.
Brooklyn is a perfect mix of active and snuggly. She enjoys walks and keeps up with bigger dogs despite her tiny legs! She can be playful, engaging in a little fetch, but also loves curling up in a cozy lap or next to her person. This little lady thrives on companionship and feels most secure when she’s not alone—she’d do wonderfully with another dog, though she could also shine as an only dog if her human is home often. She’s even cat-friendly, showing only occasional curiosity without chasing.
At first, Brooklyn can be a bit shy with new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet, cuddly personality really shines. She may alert you when someone is at the door, but warms up quickly with reassurance. She’s crate-trained, sleeps through the night, and is mostly potty-trained (needs a consistent routine and occasional breaks).
