What Blue Needs
Dogs from Puerto Rico experience a major transition when arriving in the U.S., so Blue will need a patient adopter who’s committed to socialization. His ideal home includes:
✔️ Another resident dog OR
✔️ A family willing to take him on walks with other dogs, to the dog park, or doggie daycare
Blue’s Wishlist
Blue dreams of long sniffy walks in his new neighborhood, romps in the park, and plenty of adventures. He’s eager to attend dog training classes to show how smart he is! But most of all, he just wants to know he’s safe, loved, and finally home.

Note: Sato is a term commonly used in Puerto Rico to describe stray or street dogs. These dogs are often mixed breeds and have adapted to life on the streets or beaches of the island. Many satos face harsh conditions, including hunger, disease, and abandonment, but rescue organizations work to find them loving homes in the U.S. and beyond. Despite their rough start, satos are known for being resilient, affectionate, and incredibly loyal once given a second chance!
