Meet Crius! He is a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull mix who arrived under Welfare Protection on 2/13/2025. He is 3 years old, listed as 36-75 lbs and not yet neutered. He has a striking white coat with a few brown patches and freckles on his ears, along with his sparkling blue eyes!
The Dog Walkers are finding him to be shy and confused in the shelter environment. I’d guess he’s still trying to figure out where he is and why. Once he gets outside, he is nose to the ground and loves his Sniffari! He may have a slight vision impairment but it isn’t very evident if at all. He walks well with a leash but is sensitive to loud noises, like the traffic on the street.
He is housebroken, well behaved and has a gentle vibe. We sat on the curb for awhile and he snuggled into my lap for some love. He is very handsome and a great size! He should thrive in a home environment and may be dog social as well, since he came in with a few siblings. Stability, patience, and LOVE are key to his success! Please stop in to visit him. If you give him a minute, he’ll likely share some cuddles with you too!
