-Special Needs? Baloo is neutered, up to date on vaccinces and heartworm negative. Baloo may have seasonal allergies that manifest with ear infections spring and fall. He received a cytopoint injection 10/23/24 and a claro ear treatment and should be rechecked in November. Based on previous medical records, this is something that bothers him the most in September/ October and April/May. Baloo is a bernedoodle. We will never guarantee that a doodle is hypoallergenic or that they won’t shed. If you have allergy concerns, this happy boy is not your dog.

Fence needed? No – he would enjoy one but would be happy with leash walks and a play time once a week in a safe off leash area
What kind of home would be best for me? Baloo will bring boundless joy to any home, whether it’s a house or an apartment. He doesn’t mind if his adopter is single, a couple, or a family; the more people he can love and receive love from, the better! While a fenced yard isn’t required it would give Baloo a safe space to play and show off his antics. He would be happy with a canine companion to play with in the yard, but he’d be just as happy as an only dog.
What is my personality like? Say hello to six-year-old Baloo, a dog on a mission to spread joy to everyone he meets! With a constant smile on his face, Baloo is the embodiment of happiness. He eagerly approaches everyone for pets, hugs, and belly rubs—he truly is the definition of a Velcro dog. Baloo is the most joyful creature you will ever meet. He loves all dogs and simply wants them to enjoy life as much as he does.
While Baloo walks well on a leash, a little refresher training wouldn’t hurt. He could also use some help with basic commands, but with his eager-to-please attitude, he’ll pick up everything you want to teach him in no time.
Baloo is a delightful bundle of energy who wants everyone to enjoy life as much as he does. He could easily claim the title of Official Fun Ambassador! Whether it’s a trip to the store (“Can I come too?”), walks (“Let’s go!”), or adventures in the mountains or at the beach (“What do you mean you aren’t packed yet? I’m ready to go!”), Baloo is always excited to join in.
