General Notes | Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.  Personality | Albert is approx. 4 years old and 57lbs. Shelter staff say he is calm and gentle! He is somewhat unsure of new things and likes to take it slow, but shows zero aggression. He is a sweet boy in need of lots of love and pets! Story | Albert was reported to animal control as a stray roaming a suburban neighborhood. He was very friendly to all the people. But it was reported he taunted the neighborhood cats  Other Dogs | He temp tested well with other dogs at the shelter. He was pretty indifferent towards them, but we imagine he’ll open up more once out of the scary shelter. He will probably do well with another dog in the home to show him the ropes.Cats | The neighbors that reported Albert as a stray stated he is a cat chaser. We recommend a home without feline friends for Albert.Children  He is fine with children in the home. Indifferent to small children. Training | Blank slate! Albert seems to have been on his own for awhile. We are working on commands.Leash | He’s very gentle on leash. He curiously explores his surroundings. Doesn’t pull. Loves hiking and jogging. Would be a great trail dog! Activity Level | Medium. Albert is a mature Lab that does not seem overly energetic. This may change as he adjusts to a more normal lifestyle. Health Notes | Albert is up to date on vaccines and heartworm NEGATIVE! He is scheduld to be neutered soon. Thank you! | Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
