Rumi’s journey has been a bit of a rollercoaster. This beautiful Husky first arrived at the shelter as a stray in early November and was quickly adopted. But heartbreak struck again when she was returned to the shelter on Valentine’s Day as an owner surrender.
Now this sweet 4-year-old girl is back where she started—waiting for someone who truly means forever.
Despite everything, Rumi hasn’t lost her gentle spirit. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few minutes and her friendly, affectionate personality shines through. With her stunning red-and-white coat and striking root-beer colored eyes, she’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
Petite for a Husky and already spayed, Rumi is the perfect mix of cuddle companion and adventure buddy. She’s just as happy curling up on the couch for a Netflix binge as she is heading out for a hike or a neighborhood walk.
