Papi is a scruffy Schnauzer mix who recently made his way from Louisiana to New Jersey and is settling nicely into foster life. He’s already showing what a loving and devoted little guy he is—especially when it comes to his favorite humans.

His Personality
Papi is the definition of a Velcro dog. He forms strong bonds and loves to follow his person everywhere, happily keeping you company around the house or out in the yard. He especially seems to gravitate toward male figures and becomes deeply attached—so much so that he’ll miss you the moment you step out the door.

Despite his strong attachment, Papi is a fairly chill and easygoing boy. He enjoys neighborhood walks, relaxing at home, and simply being near the one he loves. He lives well with other dogs and settles nicely into a routine.

He’s currently brushing up on his housetraining after his recent move, but he’s crate-trained and was nearly fully housetrained before—so he’s well on his way with a bit of consistency.
